First time sharpener? Simply hold your knife in one hand and hold the sharpener on a flat surface with the other. Then, place the wide end of the blade in the sharpener and draw the knife back towards you, all the way through (no sawing back and forth). Rinse and repeat.
Butter or bust. If you’re not cutting through a tomato easily, it’s time for a tune-up.
