Who knew you needed a Resting Stone?!?
This was definitely a purchase my partner grumbled about at first. The number of times I heard him say, "Why do you need a stone to sit on the counter (also stone)"?
Well, it turns out that these perfectly sized and elegant little stones are valuable just about everywhere. I have one in the bin with my pedicure supplies and use it to keep my nail clippers and other tools in one place while taking care of my feet. It also keeps the "rest" of the area I'm working in clean. The same goes for the stone on our bathroom vanity. I set my retainer on it when brushing my teeth and whatnot. The stone is porous enough to absorb some water (or so it seems), but not porous enough to actually absorb water. Whatever was done to achieve that, I have no idea, but it keeps the "rest" of our bathroom vanity much cleaner. Then there are countless uses for jewelry organization, office desk doo-dads, and, of course, in the kitchen. Big fan of this product, even at its premium price.
